Welcome to the Hull Zanshin Karate Club

Our Hull Zanshin club has existed now since 1980, but was previously called the St Paul's Karate Club, This was due to the fact that back then, we were originally located in the original St Pauls Church Hall in Hull. Several venues followed, but since December 2024, we now have a full time Dojo in Dunswell near Hull.

We follow the Wado Ryu teaching of Suzuki Sensei, himself being the head student of Hironori Ohtsuka, the founder af Wado Ryu. Our chief instructor is John Moreton, who heads up the Wado UK Association.
